Deploying Countermeasures___________ [art/design/motion/audio work by Shannon Reddy]
DETAIL / PROCESS💻 Lonefront came to me with some already developed artwork by the excellent Ryote and asked me to contribute a complementary piece to fit in with his vision, an obi strip inspired section of the sleeve to feature writing by njrh00. It was a huge privilege and incredible fun, a very active process with suggestions from Ross as detailed as color pallet and all the source material Ry created, including the label’s excellent identity elements. I went wild with some texture synthesis methods I’d been obsessed with since I figured out how to create and shape them in Blender, and composed a final with my own self drawn Times New Roman knockoff and the idea of layers and spaces within spaces within spaces. Extremely excited to hold the final object in my hands, and the music slaps🫡✨💽
