On PROMPT3D, we had an insightful conversation about how AI is contributing to whale conservation with LindseyKruse and ScienceStanley 🐋
Neural networks can be complex, but Stanley provided a concise definition to expand our understanding. Check it out:
“You can think about a neural network as a, something like a spiderweb. And you imagine a fly lands on a spider web and it exerts force on its local area, and then the shockwave spread out through the spider web. And the computation of a neural network is similar. Eva is an artist who uses her experience in graphic design to create multi-layered visualizations of situations & experiences. Her work is always paired with descriptive poetry, adding a story-telling element to her catalogue of work.
I vibe with Eva's art because it's calming to browse on the surface, yet each work has a deeper & more complex story behind it. There are subtleties that make up the larger picture, & the poetic descriptors are enough to provide direction without changing the viewing experience.
A great entry into Eva's work is through 'Hypnosis' (Foundation link). It's a piece on blurred consciousness, which is visualized elegantly through Eva's juxtaposed layering of clear subject & foggy clouds. The color palette on this piece is beautiful.
If I had unlimited ETH I would cop 'Pyromancer' (Foundation link). A seemingly innocent piece, though the description to the art tells a more sinister story. I love the framing of the smokey fire in the background, and the faceless pyromancer which could be any of us.
You should scope out Eva's art because each piece tells a new & intriguing story. Eva's graphic design talents shine bright as she pairs aesthetically pleasing visuals with haunting meanings, pushing the viewer to perceive people & situations in a new light.
