We had an amazing chat w/ Rebecca Rose about art, science, and everything in between 💙
We couldn't resist sharing Rebecca's answers to our weekly question, Why Art? 🔽
“To ask why art? Makes it sound like I had a choice in the matter and I didn't. I'm glad that I don't have a choice because this is who I am, and this is how I've always been, and this is how it will continue to be.” - Rebecca Rose, Why Art? w/ SHILLR [Presented by Wildxyz].

Claire is an AI-collaborative artist who creates work that is transcendental & is often paired with transhumanist thoughts.
Though primarily a digital artist, Claire's work utilizes oil, acrylic, GAN, Procreate, collage, photography & other methods to create her finished work.
Originally posted Feb 9, 2023.

I vibe with Claire's art because it's one of the most elegant displays of AI tech out there. It serves as a multifaceted comment on humanity, one which feels significant & deeply personal.
I see Claire as a pioneer of AI, both with her art & her educating of the community on AI.

A great entry into Claire's catalogue is through 'Imprimatura'.
Created by a mix of hand-sketching, digital painting & AI smoothing, it's a great example of Claire's multi-leveled artistic talent

If I had unlimited ETH I would cop 'Pieces' - Claire's first minted work using DALL-E 2.
The beauty of this piece is clear, but the meaning makes it even more powerful. It depicts a lifetime of chaotic moments coming together to form a coherent purpose.

If you're interested in checking out other artists I've featured or would like to recommend someone I should look into, head over to the below thread. Thanks for reading! ☕️ ✨ 💚
