Hello and welcome! I'm Simmonsstummer: artist, professional printer and experimenter.
Since 2021 I have thrown myself into this adventure in the world of NFTs. Obviously, having arrived slightly late compared to the real explosion, I did not benefit like many from million-dollar purchases and sales, but having glimpsed the great potential I decided to experiment with various artistic projects.

The key concept that captured me about NFTs is the possibility of fixing a work of art at a specific moment and potentially making it live forever on the blockchain. Furthermore, the possibility of having an international audience and meeting other artists on this journey only fueled my desire to participate even more.

Without having to write my whole life here, I just want to write that from an artistic point of view as in my personal life, I tend to be interested in many different genres, because learning something new is one of my main drivers in life. So I ranged from digital art, generative art, photography, aiart and various overlaps of all these things.
That's definitely one of the reasons I've never achieved a large following.
But that's how I am and I don't think I can change. I don't even want to do it.

I am a fine art printer and am therefore constantly surrounded by works of different genres. This certainly influenced my way of approaching my various artistic experiments. Blockchain solidified my view that a work of art must exist somewhere besides a computer folder. Just as printing is fundamental for me to make a work real, blockchain makes it come alive from a digital point of view.
In this newsletter (it seems like a very web 2.0 thing, but I think it won't be like that) you will therefore find many different things. Mainly considerations, experiments and new projects I'm working on.
Many of my experiments are available on Objkt.com. If you want to see something and understand what to expect, there's a good overview there of the kinds of things I do.
If you want to know more about my journey and what I did/will do, subscribe to the newsletter.
Thanks for the attention!
