I’ve spent the last month continuing to ask questions and better understand what my first drops have meant, and what will come next. I’ve continued to experiment since the Real Friends Visualisers drop, releasing music on both Mintsongs and Releap in edition form. The challenge we are all facing is right now there is more musicians than fans in ‘web3’, so for each of us finding our own path that leads to sustainability is not easy. This though is strangely where I have found my feet again, because I can fall back on what I know best … quality and connections. I started this journey on a small scale, relying heavily on my art, and the unpredictability of the market right now has in a way made my next steps feel easier: I can stick to what has worked, and I have learnt form what has not. Doing cheaper edition drops although not ‘selling out’ have been hugely important for me as it’s introduced me to music fans and not just collectors, who have become a hugely important part of my journey. Without them I would not have such a positive outlook for what comes next.
So before the next chapter i want to say a huge thank you to all my NFT holders aka my Realfrens who have all contributed towards my journey so far, and this next chapter:
