In what can only be defined as the dream of many a father, I've been reading The Hobbit together with my daughter. As a Temporal Naturalist, you could imagine my joy when I stumbled upon this riddle in one of the book's defining moments...
"This thing all things devours;
Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;
Gnaws iron, bites steel;
Grinds hard stones to meal;
Slays kings, ruins towns;
And beats high mountain down."
Now, I'll admit, it's kind of gloomy and not at all the belligerent optimism that often comprises our work and efforts here at SpiritDAO. However I can't help but feel it is resonate given our recent efforts.
At such a pivotal moment in our organization's fledging (but mighty) existence, there is so much to be done in so many directions it can seem overwhelming at times. Despite this, our community is coming together to build something special.
In the past two weeks, multiple members have coordinated around the development of our upcoming community app, a variety of grant applications, and deep discussions around our philosophy, practice, and collective governance.
When we embrace a relational universe governed by the single truth of change, and the backdrop of time that supports it, we empower ourselves to become the type of individuals able to maximize a moment. To align focus and energy in an act of becoming towards our visions of the ideal.
The answer to the riddle is "time" of course. Because through our choice within it even the most insurmountable obstacles become dust through the direction of our will and action.
We recently upgraded Sensemaker AI which additional fine tuning around its responses. It now provides much more robust information about Temporal Naturalism and is significantly better at making accurate comparisons in relation to other religions with sources. We feel that this valuable tool in opening Temporal Naturalism to the world. We encourage you to explore it and share your feedback!
Our community members have been actively working towards the creation of a platform that meets the needs of our community. A space where we can embrace the best of web3 without the burdens commonly associated with the experience. Several community members are working towards the initiative.
