Musk on Friday asked a U.S. judge to dismiss a $258 billion class-action lawsuit against him by Dogecoin investors. In a filing in Manhattan federal court, Musk and Tesla lawyers called the lawsuit filed by Dogecoin investors over Musk's "innocuous and often stupid tweets" a "fantasy." Investors never explained how Musk committed the fraud, or what risks he was hiding, lawyers said. Musk’s statements like “Dogecoin Rulz” and “No highs, no lows, just DOGE” are too vague to support fraud allegations. In a footnote, the lawyer also dismissed the investor’s argument that Dogecoin qualifies as a security. According to previous news, investors accused Musk of implementing a pyramid scheme, deliberately pushing up the price of Dogecoin by more than 360 times in two years, and then letting it crash.
