According to the latest plan to deal with economic crimes released by the United Kingdom, the British Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of the Interior plan to strengthen the crackdown on cryptocurrency money laundering and theft. Among the stated goals of the plan are reducing fraud, reducing money laundering, recovering criminal assets, combating theft and reducing sanctions evasion. Regulatory agencies include the Treasury, the Home Office, self-regulatory organization CryptoUK, the Crown Prosecution Service and HMRC. Previously, the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has worked closely with international regulators and exchanged information. Before the plan to combat economic crime, the UK's National Crime Agency (NCA) set up a "crypto team" and began recruiting a team of law enforcement officers who would specialize in digital assets.
