You guys probably formed an impression of them just by a visual glance, and that’s the power of design. We checked in with our creative team on their design inspiration behind these characters/ avatar.

Tammy Wonderland is our main NPC character with an unpredictable personality and paradoxical elements. She’s in charge of assigning you daily tasks in Starryverse.

• As she is the main NPC in charge of assigning quests, we gave her a high-frequency TV brain brimming with all sorts of fresh, quirky ideas.

• Contrasting elements like the plastered smiley face and hanging gift box from the baseball bat with spikes.

• Asymmetrical socks, rivet choker, thigh chain and her signature red braids make a loud fashion statement and identity.

• Crazy is Tammy’s nickname, hence the words associated with her are “boom”, “hit” and “danger”.

• We wanted to incite a sense of mystery and thrill for this character so behind that smiley face, what’s going on in her TV brain? Will she give you a gift today or a smack on her swinging bat?

Lea Harrison is a big guy with a big heart- the owner of Winterwood Inn, a kind-hearted, righteous and helpful man. He firmly believes in standing up for people who have suffered unfair treatment and inequality.

Thoughts behind the Character Design:

• Burly figure with a beer belly and mustache.

• Biker elements with various vest patches — “666”means”the mark of beast”, “bbfb” means “bandidos forever, forever bandidos”, “live free, die strong, COMME des GARÇONS” representing free-spiritedness, fearlessness and youthfulness.

This is the default avatar.

Thoughts behind the Character Design:

• Based it on a teenage persona who loves graffiti, skating and street culture. Hence, we made the Avatar’s movements look bigger and more powerful.

• The outfit is modified from an astronaut suit, with a minimal and futuristic look.

• Gender-neutral look for future expansion
