Last month we launched a space for community builders and curious creators to discuss top-of-mind themes in marketing, community building, and identity in the web3 space. All with the backdrop of a disco digital rave and nostalgic throwback to the 90s era of TV characters. We had surprise announcements, educational content and thought-provoking discussions.

Organized by the /community founder rileybeans.eth and channel hosts over on Farcaster, we hope to see you for the next, "The State of People," which pushes the boundaries of internet culture and subcultures. 

Some thoughts from last time:

“I learned about the value of multi-generational groups and suggestion to invite different generations to your communities so that the elders can share their experience, and the younger ones can bring a new energy.”

Meet some of our Panelists and preview their topics:

• Katerina:

  •  Co-lead of TogetherCrew, a community success platform. Before that she worked in academia, researching learning settings and team dynamics. 

  • She's a single mother to 4 strong, independent-minded (pre) teens and loves going camping.

  • She will be talking about the butterfly effect -  idea that what we share with each other ripples through our web of relationships (our network) influencing the decisions and outcomes of others. She will question how different social structures slow down or speed up this ripple effect.

• Christin:

  • Neuroscience PhD and onchain chaplain, host of /spirituality and /christin

  • Co-host of the BeavChris and BArt-Head Show (/bcbhshow) with @artlu, a podcast for the farcaster middle class

  • She will cover Community guidelines used by buddhist communities to hold safe containers for participants

  • Aims to invite discussion on how to leverage dopamine-spiking mechanisms towards compassionate care of others and expression of wholesome values such as generosity

• Chinmay:

  • Dad, builder, degen, and an onchain observer. Had 2 successful exits.

  • Loves analysing trends and predicting the future -- sometimes correctly, and sometimes incorrectly. Not a financial advisor

  • Will discuss - What's the next crypto cycle going to bring? And the state of onchain marketing tools

  • He also has some self-described “Unpopular opinions” like, by the end of 2024, Warpcast will have only 30% of all frames activity
