It is called the Trivium Method. It was used and taught by the ancient Greeks, but probably discovered much earlier.

You probably use it in your daily life, but have never explicitly defined it or heard somebody else define it.

The three steps are [Input → Processing → Output]. Also called [Grammar → Logic → Rhetoric] or [Knowledge → Understanding → Wisdom]. These are just different ways of labeling the same process.

Essentially, these are the steps a conscious entity has to go through in order to answer any question about the objective world and to create a more accurate picture of reality.

1 → The first step entails the gathering of raw data.

2 → The second step involves the analysis of the data. Active Thinking. Weeding out falsehoods by discovering contradictions.

3 → The third step involves applying the results from the second step to the real world.

For a better result, the method has to be reapplied to the new data generated by the third step.

The Quality of the discovered Truth will depend on how many times you applied the method to a specific question.

Ok, that’s the Method. Now let’s apply it to personal wealth management and investing.

1. Gather Information. Here we want to be as broad and inclusive as possible and use a diverse set of sources. Here are some important topics to consider:

   1. World Politics

   2. Stock Market

   3. Crypto Market

      1. Coins

      2. DApps and Protocols

   4. NFT Market

   5. Tech/Scientific Advancements/Discoveries

   6. Big Industries

   7. Country Economics

2. Analyze the data and create a Spreadsheet of your financial portfolio. You could have different charts for different markets, but ideally, it’s all in one place, easy to retrieve and update. You should update your portfolio regularly. Your portfolio might have different asset categories, like

   1. Cryptocurrencies

   2. Stocks

   3. Fiat Currencies

   4. NFTs

   5. LP Tokens

3. Execute trades. After crystallizing your thoughts into a concrete portfolio spreadsheet, it is time to trade assets and execute smart contracts in order to put your money where your mouth is. You might need to

   1. Trade

   2. Buy

   3. Hold

   4. Invest

   5. Lend

   6. Borrow

   7. Provide Liquidity
