Over the past few weeks, I’ve taken a bold step into one of the most exciting frontiers of technology—crypto and Web3. Thanks to the pilot programme organized by P2E Inferno, I was given the chance not just to observe, but to actively participate in the innovations shaping the next generation of the internet. This journey has been eye-opening, challenging, and incredibly rewarding.
Before starting the programme, Web3 felt like a distant concept—something futuristic, complex, and hard to access. But all that changed once I got my hands dirty. In just three weeks, I’ve built a strong foundation in the crypto space, starting with the creation of Web3 wallets on platforms like MetaMask, Rainbow, and TrustWallet. While I had some prior exposure, this time was different. I wasn’t just following instructions—I was understanding the why behind every action.
I learned how to secure my wallets, connect to blockchain networks, and create a unique digital identity with a basename on the Base network. I joined platforms like Farcaster and Zora, where I got to interact with a thriving community of builders and creators. These were not just exercises—they were gateways to a new digital world built on transparency, ownership, and participation.
In the second week, I dived deeper. I interacted with Ethereum testnets, explored networks like Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, and Base, and performed token swaps using test ETH. For the first time, I was able to understand how tokens move across chains, how decentralized finance (DeFi) works in practice, and how smart contracts enable trustless transactions. It was like watching the future unfold in real time.
What stood out to me the most, however, was the human element. Joining DAO communities, participating in discussions on Discord, and voting in polls on platforms like Farcaster made me realize that Web3 is about more than code—it's about people. It’s about empowering individuals, removing gatekeepers, and creating systems where everyone has a voice.
By the third week, I had joined Guild.xyz, linked my online identity, and earned membership badges that recognized my engagement. These small but meaningful steps confirmed something powerful: in Web3, your contributions matter. You don’t need to be a tech expert or a developer to belong—you just need curiosity, commitment, and the courage to start.
This programme didn’t just teach me skills; it gave me confidence. I now believe that crypto is not a trend—it’s a paradigm shift. It’s reshaping finance, ownership, community, and creativity. I’m proud to say I’ve taken my first steps into this world, and I’m not looking back.
The future is decentralized, and I’m ready to help build it. Whether through learning, sharing, or creating, I know my journey is just beginning. And if this experience has taught me anything, it’s this: we all have a role to play in shaping what comes next.
