Before we go deeper, let’s recap Ziggy Ziggy and why we’re doing this.
We launched Ziggy Ziggy in January as a throwback to our love of music blogs. A simple way to share music we discovered in Web3.
We believe that a new generation of music is emerging onchain with an energy we haven’t seen since the early days of Soundcloud so we wanted to capture that magic and show the world the incredible scene developing here.
Since launching, we’ve featured almost 100 artists on our daily social feeds and built one of the largest newsletters in the space. We also work directly with artists on their Web3 strategy including Beachcrimes and Kids of the Apocalypse.
Deep down, however, we know that our early music scene needs to go beyond a crypto-native audience and get in front of more people.

We’re convinced that live music and video content is the key to taking this emerging culture to a bigger audience. We need to show people the cool shit happening here.
Ziggy Ziggy will be building out a brand inspired by Colors, Boiler Room and record labels like Kitsune and Neon Gold. These are music brands built around niche music content that eventually went global.
The only difference is Ziggy Ziggy will be onchain first. Always.
After the mints, Ziggy Ziggy will publish these videos on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok and drive a large campaign around this content.
We launch our genesis collection in LA, which has established itself as an early hub for onchain music culture. Our artist Beachcrimes are based out there and it’s home to many of the leading artists in the space including Daniel Allan, Bloody White, Mija, Reo Cragun and more.
The three artists in volume 1 take through a journey of different sounds and aesthetics within the electronic music genre. We begin with Beachcrimes and their infectious dance-pop while the LA sun shines down. Daniel takes the sunset slot with his deeper electronic-hip hop crossover. And Bloody White ends the set in the dark with a chilling performance.

However, we know that LA is just one pocket of a global movement. After testing our thesis here, we aim to shoot similar sessions in London, Berlin, New York, Latin America and anywhere else with a vibrant onchain music scene.
The live sessions and drop structure are inspired by the concept of “music as streetwear,” an idea that was first written about by music collector Mary.
It’s the idea that we can bring back value around music through a combination of underground cultural trends, drop dynamics and a degree of exclusivity.
With that in mind, we wanted to create a drop that was deeply rooted in the Web3 music culture — something that only insiders will '“get” and be proud to own. Live DJ sets felt like the best way to capture this.
For the drop structure, we wanted to return to a limited edition model to ensure a level of exclusivity. There will only ever be 100 editions of each live set and an ultra rare 1/1 for the full video set.
To recap the drop details:
Daniel Allan - 11am PST on Sound.xyz (100 editions)
Beachcrimes - 1pm PST (100 editions)
Bloody White - 3pm PST (100 editions)
Full video - 5pm PST on Zora (1/1 auction)
The 1/1 winner and all golden egg winners on Sound will also get the first ever run of Ziggy Ziggy sunglasses for free.

Collectors are also invited to join the Ziggy Ziggy Record Club on Telegram. Join here after collecting your NFT.
Ziggy Ziggy aims to be the heart of onchain music culture and make our mark as a global music brand. We’ll achieve this through exclusive Music Drops, Live Sessions and our associated Sunglasses brand.
