Our team had a clear vision for Superchain Accounts, which provides benefits and perks to Superchain users based on their contributions to the Collective, and created a Mission Request for it. Sadly, a different applicant received the Superchain Accounts mission grant. Despite this, we are committed to shipping Superchain Accounts in Q2 together with Safe. We will build in the most valuable way, in public, with the Superchain Community. Help us shape the solution by filling in this pole on what you believe should be rewarded!
Mode announced the first distribution of its DevDrop program, which will take place over the following week. This initiative has reserved 5% of the total token supply to foster growth within the Mode ecosystem and reward impactful on-chain activities by developers and users. For the initial month, 0.217% of the total token supply will be distributed, with future distributions planned to include more incentives. Read the blog for full distribution details here.
After a four-week developer preview, the Redstone Mainnet will officially launch on May 1st. Over the next four weeks of the developer preview, the Redstone community will deploy their projects onto Redstone. During the Race to Mainnet, Redstone will share learnings and insights along the way. The upcoming public launch follows months of development and testing, promising a new era for autonomous digital environments. Read the full announcement here.
Lisk is set to undergo significant changes to its tokenomics, starting with the transition of the LSK token from an infinite to a fixed supply. The LSK token will also be converted into an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum mainnet. A few months after this migration, the community will participate in a DAO vote to decide whether to burn 100 million of the LSK tokens. Moreover, Lisk has planned an airdrop campaign for 2024 and 2025. Before transitioning to decentralized sequencers, there will also be a staking campaign to engage further and reward the community. Read the full details here.
The Optimism Grants Council is considering a proposal to reallocate 1,040,000 OP tokens previously intended for the Gov Fund to Intent 2, Growing the Superchain. The additional tokens will mainly be allocated to growth and grants experiments, smart contract auditing services, and OP stack research and implementation. Community votes will decide on further allocations, which have the potential to significantly impact funding for the remainder of Season 5. You can find more details on the Optimism Governance page here.
