Alt-DA Mode is now available in beta for the OP Stack, allowing any DA layer to integrate its own DA server. Popular DA layers like Celestia, EigenDA, and Avail are already live, offering scalable and secure data availability solutions. This mode protects chains from rising costs due to congestion and provides flexibility in choosing DA layers. Developers can submit transaction batches to alternate DA layers outside of L1, minimizing trade-offs in security and decentralization. Alt-DA Mode's modularity ensures compatibility with future improvements to the OP Stack. Read the full explainer here.
Mode has launched Activity Points Season 2, offering users a share of 5 million points daily based on their transaction volumes across key pools on platforms like Kim, Supswap, SwapMode, IzumiSwap, and Velodrome. This initiative aims to incentivize genuine participation by rewarding individual users who actively engage in token swaps, ensuring a vibrant and active ecosystem. Daily calculations and updated points will be available on the user dashboard. Read all about it here.
