The OP Stack has recently unveiled its first fault proof system, aiming to bolster decentralization within the Optimism ecosystem. This significant advancement, now live on the OP Goerli Testnet, represents the initial fault proof system for the OP Stack. The system's modular architecture sets the stage for a future that encompasses ZK proofs and broadens the scope for ecosystem contributors to develop alternative fault proof components, ensuring the system's security. Following the launch of Conduit Elector, Conduit has introduced an array of new integrations to enhance its platform. These integrations are designed to extend the rollup capabilities of Conduit. Some of these integrations include The Graph, Privy and Singularity. Read Andrew Huang’s thread for more information on these integrations here.

On October 5th there was a planned movement of ~230M OP. These are core contributors’ tokens which are being moved to an institutional custodian for security purposes. Read more about the token allocations here

Optimism Governance has entered a Reflection Period in preparation for Season 5. There will be new experiments and features coming out, including the 1st ever joint house vote! In Season 5, all work supported by the Collective will be in pursuit of 4 intents:
