SuperPools are now live on Superform! Access mainnet yield from L2s for less than 1% of the cost. While the majority of DeFi yield resides on Ethereum, high gas fees shouldn't prevent users from seizing these opportunities. Affordable yield access is essential for global adoption.
SuperPools simplify and reduce the cost of cross-chain yield access. By pairing SuperPosition ERC20s obtained from deposits on Superform with another asset in an AMM pool, you can avoid long bridge transaction wait times and hefty cross-chain messaging fees.
Market makers, protocols, and advanced users now bridge for you. Users no longer have to create SuperPositions on every transaction and can simply buy them off a liquidity provider. This process is simple for users while still incentivizing liquidity providers to create SuperPools through AMM trading fees + yield on their underlying SuperPositions.
SuperPools are liquidity pools that contain cross-chain ERC20 SuperPositions. Rather than paying expensive fees bridging from L2 → L1, users can now swap into SuperPositions that represent L1 yield on any chain. The cross-chain experience is currently expensive:
Ethereum → Ethereum: $25+
L2 → Ethereum: $50+
Ethereum → L2: $80+
Say a Superform user has funds on Base and wants to access a vault on Ethereum:
Before SuperPools, a user would submit a transaction on Superform that then bridges their funds to Ethereum, deposits into a vault, and then mints them SuperPositions (a tokenized representation of the Ethereum vault position) on Base. While this process is abstracted from the user, it is still expensive.
With SuperPools, instead of bridging tokens from Base to Ethereum, the deposit is routed through a SuperPool on Base. The SuperPool will contain two assets: one SuperPosition (a tokenized representation of the Ethereum vault) and one regular ERC20 such as USDC. Superform will simply swap the user’s tokens directly for SuperPositions through the SuperPool. No bridging required. Just swap for $.01!

Select the chain with SuperPool liquidity. The cheapest route is auto-selected between direct cross-chain deposits or SuperPool swaps

Convert to rewards-earning SuperPositions: by default ERC20 SuperPositions do not earn XP. The option to convert will be given to users in the deposit flow.
The first SuperPool is live today for the Morpho Steakhouse USDC vault on Ethereum, tokenized on Arbitrum, deposited into UniswapV3 on Arbitrum with USDC. No more bridging or waiting for your yield.
