Hey Sweetman, Firstly, thank you for sending me my first onchain letter. I love it! It feels so right (yet the $3 fee to mint feels so wrong). My reasoning for limiting the explore and profile page to surface communities creating exclusively on Fam was mainly an attempt to make the platform more approachable to musicians and creators who aren't neccesarily embedded in the web3 world. Many creatives find the speculative nature of crypto offputting and there is a lot of memes and in-jokes that are hard to understand / potentially offputting. If you scroll through the Party website some of the communities you'll see are: DegenDAO, Toe Spacer Party, A bunch of pepe inspired parties, FarmBro Party, Spidedick, Farmcash and a bunch of AI generated anime ones. I would love to show Parties created on other clients too, but so far there aren't any other music related ones aside from The Green Room. Is there a way we could set it up so we can hide/show certain parties and not others? The vast majority of them are spam right now, and I feel this detracts from the user experience. Regarding faster onboarding, I'm not sure this is the case. As a new user who is trying to find a community, you don't need to go through the create flow at all. You just need to click explore and (hopefully) find a bunch of interesting internet music communities that you vibe with. I am 100% open to some middle ground though, because I agree with you that there's something magical about the composability of these communities across different interfaces and apps. One thing I am excited to explore is creating a way to spin up a Farcaster channel for each new community on Fam that is token gated to members-only (can read, just not write). People would be able to create posts on Fam, but it would also show up on FC clients. Anyway, lets keep discussing
