15 Bitcoin Insights Spock Would've Shared
Whether you're a Star Trek fan or not, you've probably heard of Spock at least once in your life. Spock is a half-human, half-Vulcan being born in January 2230, i.e. 90 years after the last Bitcoin was issued around 2140. At the time the Star Trek series was created, Bitcoin had not yet been invented (or discovered) by Satoshi Nakamoto. However, looking back recently at some of Spock's best-known quotes, it occurred to me that Spock would probably have been a Bitcoiner if the s...

Bitcoin vs. CBDC – The Battle for Your Privacy That You Must Fight Before It’s Too Late.
CBDC. This barbaric acronym should speak to you if you regularly read my articles. If not, I'll end the suspense right away: CBDC stands for Central Bank Digital Currency. Behind these letters is the new fad of all governments around the world to better monitor, control and censor the people. Of course, you can imagine that your government is not going to present you its CBDC like this. It would be too big and the people would be offended. Instead, governments will present CBDCs as great...

Robert F. Kennedy Puts the CBDCs vs. Cryptocurrencies Debate in the American Political Arena
Let's hope that the general public understands the urgency to act to protect themselves. Bitcoiners have been telling you for years that governments around the world are planning to introduce CBDCs (Central Bank Digital Currencies) sooner or later, which will be a horror for the citizens and a joy for the society of mass surveillance that the powerful people at the head of the current system want to establish. It is rather sad to note that until now the subject did not seem to catch on a...

You frequently hear opponents of Bitcoin say that Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme, an environmental disaster, or that Bitcoin is only used for illegal activities.
These opponents always spread the same lies to protect the current system.
They put little effort into their lies and may even end up saying they hate Bitcoin just because Charlie Munger said it was evil or Warren Buffett said it was "Rat poison squared".
More recently, I've heard opponents use a more rarely used argument: What if governments cut off the Internet, Bitcoin couldn't survive it?
So I explore this idea in the latest issue of the In Bitcoin We Trust Newsletter.
You'll see that the conclusion is clear: Bitcoin would have a better chance of surviving in such an environment than the current system.
You may be thinking that I am defending Bitcoin because I am a Bitcoiner. Rather than sticking to that position, I invite you to read my analysis.
It's up to you to read my article and then decide for yourself. Remember: "Don't Trust, Verify".
