It's been a long time since I've written a blog. I went through a long and crippling phase of creative block, during which I completely lost my ability to write. Whenever I sat down to write something, I faced overwhelming anxiety and uncertainty that paralyzed me for the entire day, until I eventually went to sleep. I've been sleeping a lot, somewhere between 9 to 11 hours every night, from around 4 am to 2 pm. I know it's horrible, but this is what happens when I lose control of my life, when the OCD, anxiety, and depression take over. But they won't last long, usually one or two weeks. Then I come out of that nightmare and I continue my life. It's not like the struggles vanish whatsoever, but they get reduced to a minimum, enough for me to gain back my functionality, creativity, and productivity. I've been struggling with OCD, anxiety, and depression my whole life, as long as I remember. But it's been a couple of years since I decided to work on myself to improve my mental health and overcome my problems. I did try medications, but they made me worse, a lot worse. They were destroying every organ in my body like my stomach, liver, heart, and lungs. I stopped taking them within the first month. I realized that I had to come up with another way to deal with the problems. So I started researching different ways to overcome these issues, and hopefully, I found a couple of great books to read:
For Depression:
Feeling Good: The New Mood Therapy
Book by David D. Burns

For Anxiety:
Unwinding Anxiety: New Science Shows How to Break the Cycles of Worry and Fear to Heal Your Mind
Book by Judson A. Brewer

For OCD:
Freedom from Obsessive-compulsive Disorder: A Personalized Recovery Program for Living with Uncertainty
Book by Jonathan Grayson

From the very moment that I started reading these books, my life began to transform. I gradually made progress in my journey to overcome my challenges and regain control of my life. Now, after years of dedicated effort, I’ve reached a point where these challenges are no longer a daily struggle but rather occasional episodes. Moreover, the intensity of these episodes has gradually diminished over time.
All things considered, I can confidently say that there is hope for me and my life, largely thanks to the books I mentioned and others I'll discuss later. Given how beneficial they were to me, I've decided to create more content and videos based on these books. I'll focus on highlighting the most crucial and helpful aspects while sharing my thoughts and experiences. I hope that these contents will also be of assistance to others.
Thanks for reading! Share your thoughts in the comments, and stay tuned for upcoming content based on these helpful books.
