Use this moment of “seeing what comes back” as a chance to honestly critique your actions. Sometimes we can think we have done good deeds, but the world mirrors back a different picture. Have the humility to take any feedback as a chance for refinement of one’s behaviour, or a validation that you are in fact moving from the right place. True kindness takes a sort of genius, it is actually quite hard to achieve.
