It is important that we all find the time each week to take a moment and reflect on ourselves and the world around us. In a world that moves faster and faster each day, us hitting the pause button so to re-center ourselves is that much more paramount.
The one thing I do is to take time and reflect on my wins and loses as a father, but more importantly how I can become a better father.
Now, for many of us this will be a lifelong quest. And it should be. We should never become complacent. We should always work to improve ourselves and how we interact with the world around us. This is much easier to type thamln to do, but that does not deter me from trying.
With this being my first ever post on Paragraph, I will keep it sweet and simple and leave you with one bit of dad advice I offer anyone who will listen:
"You may not be the strongest dad, or the smartest dad, or the richest dad. But, if you show up for your kid(s) every day, you will be a superhero in their eyes. And remember, superheros can do anything!"
Now, I challenge you dads (moms too), go out there and be that superhero you kid
