The Squibbles
Hey Squiblets! 💛
We’ve had an exciting week at The Squibbles HQ, and we just had to share this news with you!
We’ve officially pitched The Squibbles to Richard Branson, Simon Squibb, and 15 other major investors at the Dream Machine event in Manchester this week! It was a fantastic opportunity to get the word out about our mission to bring The Squibbles to the world, and we are feeling inspired by the conversations and connections we made.
But here's the deal – we need £500,000 to make The Squibbles TV Show a full-time reality for a year! 💰 That amount may sound like a lot, but when you’re building an incredible show with a talented team of 5 people, plus all the advertising and promotional work, it goes fast!
Every bit of support counts as we continue on this exciting journey, and we couldn’t be more grateful for your support. More updates to come soon as we keep pushing forward!
We’re putting the final touches on the second edition of The Storycorner Magazine, and we’re so excited to share a couple of early concepts with you! Check out these design sketches and character ideas we’re working on. It’s all starting to come together, and it’s looking Squibblicious! 💖
🎨Stay tuned for the final reveal! 🙌
Have you heard about the Squibbles TV show pilot we’re working on? It’s been an exciting journey, and we’ve been refining the concept with lots of love and creativity! Here are a couple of exciting sneak peeks from the pilot:
A new animated sequence featuring Colin on his travels 🌍
A brand-new song for our next character’s introduction
Fun little concept shots of the Squibblesville setting, where all the magic happens 🏡
This pilot has been a true adventure to work on, and we can’t wait to share more soon!
Looking for a simple, creative game you can play with just a pen and paper? Look no further than the Squibbles Scavenger Hunt! Whether you’re at home or outside, this game is perfect for a little bit of fun, imagination, and Squibblicious creativity.
How to Play:
Create Your Scavenger Hunt List: ✍
Grab a piece of paper and write down a list of fun items to find or tasks to complete. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
Find something yellow 💛
Draw your favourite Squibbles character
Find something that makes you smile
Write down three things you’re grateful for
Make up a short Squibbles song
Spot a cloud that looks like a Squibbles character ☁️
Set a Timer: ⏰
Set a timer for 10-15 minutes to see who can find the most items or complete the most tasks on the list. Or, if you want a bit of extra excitement, make it a race to finish first!
Score Points: 💯
Each task completed earns a point! Bonus points for creativity – the more fun you have, the more points you get!
Swap Roles: 🔄
Want to switch things up? Let parents create the list and kids go on the hunt! You can even make it a regular Squibbles challenge with new lists every week!
