This morning’s reflection comes straight from The Four Agreements deck: “Surrender and let go of the past.” I pulled this card during a moment of mental clutter — one of those subtle, weighted mornings where your body feels like it’s dragging yesterday behind it.
There’s a line on the back that hit home:
“Letting go of the past means that you can enjoy the dream that is happening right now.”
Most people talk about letting go like it’s an event. But in my experience, it’s more like a practice. A quiet micro-decision to stop replaying a scene. A pause before reacting with the same script. It’s realizing the weight you’re carrying is optional.
We’re building The ZAO to live fully — not just as creators, but as humans. That means some days, our best isn’t a new product drop or a killer rollout. It’s remembering that we’re not defined by yesterday’s version of ourselves. That “Always Do Your Best” doesn’t mean always doing the most. It means presence.
So today, I’m choosing now. I hope you do too.
