Today’s lesson is clear. Learn to ask questions. It sounds simple, but it takes courage. Questions expose uncertainty. Assumptions hide it. When you assume, you protect yourself from looking unsure, but you trade away truth.
In the past, I used to avoid asking. I thought it slowed the conversation. I thought people might see me as unprepared. What I learned is the opposite. The moment I asked the question, the room opened. People gave direct answers. Misunderstandings dissolved before they grew into problems.
In community building, the habit of asking is everything. Musicians in ZAO who ask about contracts, royalties, or event details move faster than those who stay silent. Asking is not weakness. It is ownership. It shows you care enough to clarify instead of guessing.
This week, let’s treat questions as a practice. When something feels unclear, don’t fill the gap in your head. Ask. One good question saves you from ten false assumptions.
