ZM happy Tuesday — this week at The ZAO, we’re spotlighting local impact with global heart. Our community is proud to support the Freedom & Justice Summit happening November 6–9 at The Grand Theater in Ellsworth, Maine, hosted by Artivism in Maine. One of our own — Hurricane — will perform an original song titled “Freedom”.
This isn’t just another festival. It’s a movement grounded in community, art, and shared truth — bringing world-class creativity to small-town Maine, and proving that meaningful cultural change doesn’t only happen in big cities. It happens wherever people gather with purpose.
The Freedom & Justice Summit features:
Lady Brion — Maryland’s Poet Laureate and the #1 ranked woman slam poet in the world.
Hurric4n3 — performing an original “Freedom” anthem.
Many beloved Maine artists — across workshops, performances, and discussions.

Today’s mindful reflection: art isn’t just expression — it’s contribution. It’s what happens when creation meets conscience. Whether you’re in Ellsworth or halfway across the world, remember: creativity becomes activism when it moves someone else forward.
Join us in supporting, sharing, or showing up for this summit. Let’s help art do what it was always meant to do — unite and uplift.
