ZABAL — originally a simple coordination experiment — is now evolving into the backbone of everything we’re building across the ZAO, WaveWarZ, and the wider BCZ universe.
To explain what’s changing and why, here’s the conversation Adam (SongJam) and I had during the recent restream:

For December, we’re teaming up with SongJam, a platform built to protect your social voice and identity in the age of AI. SongJam tracks how people discuss a project across X — and for the entire month, that project is ZABAL.
From December 1st to January 1st, any mention of:
“ZABAL”
@BetterCallZaal
ZM (the multiplier)
across X earns you Sing Points on the ZABAL SongJam Leaderboard.
SongJam calculates this by pulling engagement data:
Likes
Replies
Retweets
Quote Tweets
Spaces mentions
Everything gets aggregated into one unified score.
And December has a massive daily multiplier:
Posting on Dec 1st earns ~100× more Sing Points than Dec 31.
Early contributions matter.
With Farcaster officially ending its creator rewards leaderboard, the old “reward-for-posting” era is over. The entire ecosystem is moving toward identity, culture, and long-term creative presence — not algorithmic payouts.
ZABAL is pivoting accordingly.
ZABAL is now the coordination layer across everything we build
We’re building our own cultural engine — one that isn’t tied to a single platform.
On January 1st, we launch the ZABAL token on Empire Builder (Clanker).
The launch includes:
Airdrop allocation w/time-locked and vested components for allocations for ZAO Respect Token holders and for December Sing Point earners
Empire Builder also enables boosters (ERC-20s + NFTs), giving us room to expand the leaderboard system later.
January 1st is the official kickoff — the moment ZABAL becomes a fully operational layer in the ecosystem.
