ZM happy wavy Wednesday. We’ve got a couple great things happening today — ZAO momentum picking up, WaveWarZ energy moving, LTAW3 Season 3 Ending and everyone settling into that mid-week creative groove. And this morning’s mindful moment comes straight from Bacon, one of the most active voices inside COC — one of our strongest collaborative communities in the whole ZAO ecosystem.
Here’s the poem he shared yesterday:
I take into my arms more than I can bear to hold
I'm toppled by the world
A creation of ladders, pianos, stairs cut into the rock
A devouring world of teeth where even the common snail eats the heart out of the forest
As you and I do, who are human, at night
Yet I still take into my arms more than I can bear to hold
There’s something powerful in that honesty — the way it captures what it feels like to move through the world with softness in a place that demands steel. Most of us are carrying more than anyone sees, yet we still show up, we still create, we still contribute. That’s the quiet strength that keeps communities like ours alive.
So today, just recognize what you’re holding — not to fix it or explain it, but to honor it. That alone can steady you.
Give yourself a moment to breathe before the next wave hits.
