Standing in opposition to the warlike Order of Power, the Order of Skill prefers to channel conflict towards peaceful competition. Instead of focusing on the destructive capability of magical items, the Order considers their athletic potential. This led it to create the Eisteddfod, a grand tournament open to all the Realms, which attracts the best and brightest adventurers to its stadia every year. It was adherents to the Order of Skill that devised the Greatness metrics, and the league tables and rankings that are generated from the results of the Eisteddfod are adopted by the other Orders on their unquestionable merit.
