When we first got acquainted with crypto, the main idea that prevailed everywhere was that everything was Bitcoin, and all altcoins were intended only to increase the quantity of Bitcoin. Subsequently, we witnessed many dirty things: the idea that altcoins would go to the dustbin, that project owners' goal was to collect money from people and increase their own Bitcoin count, including insider information and the exploitation of their own tokens. Many examples can be given, such as entering most projects at an early stage and selling them at the peak to the public.
And back then, the only thing I believed in and saw was Satoshi Nakamoto on the Bitcointalk forum, and his global act of rebellion against the world’s crooked politicians and political systems who continually printed money for their own benefit in an infinite loop. I embraced the system of halving every four years, the increasing difficulty of mining, and the resistance it represented.
Over time, I broke away from this cycle, transforming into an Ethereum maxi. Lured by the charm of DeFi and NFTs, I began descending from the peak I reached in 2021. I think I see the sole responsibility and mistake in myself at this point. I found myself in the dirty dealings of hope mongers and scammers. But this doesn't change the fact that if I went down to zero, I will climb back up. I have the belief that 'I belong here and I will come back from this,' and I did what I knew best."
Within two years, I received airdrops from 110 projects with a single wallet. I can say that by staking these airdrops or believing in some of the projects, I became their victim once again. I never used to believe in luck as long as you struggled, but the truth is it wasn't like that; luck was necessary.
I want to tell you a story. A forest was on fire, and a tiny sparrow was taking water from a river with its beak and dropping it onto the fire. All the other animals, while fleeing, turned and looked at it, asking, 'What are you doing? Will the fire ever go out like that?' The sparrow’s answer was very meaningful: 'This is all I can do. I am doing my part.' Friends, this anecdote is very important. I did my part. I would have loved to be a developer on Lens, but my hardware (skills/knowledge) in that area is weak, and I have endless respect for the people who do it. There is a saying that you should always leave the work to the master.
Anyway, I can say health comes first in everything, and everything in this world is for people. Hope will be within us until we die. Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day, and it didn't fall in a day.
Friends, I will be sharing my journey on Paragraph, starting from Bitcoin in 2014. As someone who has made almost every possible mistake in crypto and pressed every button, I want to help those who can learn from someone else’s experiences by providing examples they can benefit from. Without expecting anything in return, I will write in detail, day by day as I remember, the things I did and the processes I went through on Paragraph. Sending you all my love and respect.
