Introducing Unichain Developer Grants
Amplifying and accelerating the builders who drive DeFi forward. Last week marked the launch of Unichain, a new Ethereum L2 designed for DeFi, and powered by the Superchain. Unichain is built to be the home for DeFi and liquidity in our multichain world. It’s low cost, while furthering decentralization. It’s fast, with near instant transactions. It’s designed to offer seamless multi-chain swapping. It’s open source, with components available for other chains to adopt. Unichain is built to sca...

Introducing the Uniswap Hook Incubator

The story of Uniswap is the story of its builder communities. To support and grow global Uniswap developer nodes, we’re excited to announce the Uniswap Foundation Ambassador Program. Over the coming months, ambassadors will play a critical role in connecting our growing ecosystem: bridging knowledge gaps, fostering community expansion, and driving Protocol innovation.
We're thrilled to welcome an exceptional group of developers and community builders to our program. These individuals have demonstrated deep expertise in the Uniswap ecosystem, including established hook builders, Hookathon winners, and developers capable of providing hands-on support to the broader community.
Nobuaki Onishi (Tokyo, Japan)
Ivan Volovyk (Warsaw, Poland)
Mohak Gupta (Jaipur, India)
Silvio Busonero (Paris, France)
Raphael Nembhard (Philadelphia, USA)
Tony Lau (Toronto, Canada)
Longs Gotar (Lagos, Nigeria)
Rudransh (Jaipur, India)
Uniswap Foundation Ambassadors have already begun making an impact, hosting events around the world, building a hooks directory, and engaging with our growing community.
Ambassadors will drive ecosystem growth through three interconnected areas of focus:
Foster Community Growth: Organize local and virtual events that create spaces for developers to share insights, collaborate, and contribute to the Protocol. Represent the Uniswap Foundation at global gatherings and connect with regional DeFi communities to extend our reach into new developer networks and geographic regions.
Bridge Knowledge Gaps: Create educational materials like tutorials and guides for Uniswap v4 hooks to make technical concepts accessible. Develop community resources that lower barriers to entry for new builders, as explained by UF Ambassador Nobuaki: "I joined the program to help Japanese financial institutions and engineers understand that learning Uniswap is the quickest path to understanding crypto."
Drive Innovation: Provide mentorship to the global community and participants of the Uniswap Hook Incubator. Offer personalized guidance and developer support to help bring hooks from concept to completion, empowering our thriving developer community to reach their full potential.
We look forward to the contributions our Ambassadors will make to the Uniswap ecosystem.
