~tirrel corporation released Scene, an Urbit desktop client for Mac and Linux! Released on an LGL license, ~tirrel envisions Scene bringing parity between Urbit and web2 UX. Near future improvements include: a theme engine, alt window management, keyboard shortcuts, and an in-app web browser.

Third.earth announced an Enterprise Platform to help star owners offer hosting, and soon domain names and planet sales.

Tlon announced the beta release of the new Landscape Urbit OS. The apps within the new OS are now separate (Groups, Talk, and soon Notebooks and Gallery) and composable. Messages persist across Talk and Groups. And now there’s an iOS app called Small Talk, too!
