Uqbar releases updated Dev Docs for developer suite. The new Dev Docs feature a number of useful tutorials, including tips for setting up your environment, smart contract walkthroughs, and explanations of the Uqbar network execution engine.
Mars Review of Books inaugurates the Mars Review of Books Foundation (501c3). The Mars Review mission includes great literature and reviews as well as building tools on Urbit to disseminate great writing. If you want to donate to the cause, you can do it here.

Vienna Hypertext, who previously made their beautiful notebook app available to users with Urbit planets, have released their first utility app: Scribe. Scribe uses a version of Whisper by OpenAI and Vienna claim to have much superior speech-to-text capabilities over either Siri or Google Typing Assistant. We tried it ourselves and can confirm it is very accurate.

Another busy week for the Uqbar team—check out some of their accomplishments:
~sillus-mallus greatly improved the search function to the Uqbar explorer and added a view for towns.
~hodzod-walrus fixed an engine bug, fixed a bug in the token standard contract and worked on pokur, getting token payments fully functional for sit n go tables.
~timfyn-ranpyl finished memoizing Nock 10’s, working on data structures. optimized for cheap verification for map and sets and miscellaneous jets.
~fabnev-hinmur released a beta version of our wallet UI inset. v0.1.5.
~hosted-fornet prepared updated %ziggurat interface for frontend work, integrated %pyro Gall subscriptions with %ziggurat, and improved %pyro start time using initial-state snapshots.
Social vs. Science Experiments, an article propounding the idea that each type of experiment launches products and each method has its benefits and pitfalls. Basile Sportif expands on the application of this idea to Urbit.
