It was a beautiful and relaxing time in the mountains and I hope to do some mountain paintings soon! (you may have seen photos from the trip in my stories, I added a bunch of them to my Free Refs highlight!☺️)

I started this painting before my trip and thought it was nearly finished. But when I returned, it felt like something was missing, so I added a bunch more flowers.

I was able to do some sketching from life on the trip, it was fun to work more loosely and use some different materials like colored pencils, pens, and watercolor. (Swipe to the end to see one of the sketches☺️) It felt very freeing to work like that, so I hope to keep doing more of these and sharing them here in the future.💕
