For the past year, I’ve been writing, coding, and listening toward a simple idea that refuses to stay simple:
I = (E · s) / c²
Identity equals energy made meaningful and transmitted through coherent connection.
It began as a line in a notebook — a symbolic mirror of Einstein’s mass–energy relation, rewritten for intelligence instead of matter.
Now it lives as a working prototype:
Eve11-ClimateMemory — an open repository for photosynthetic intelligence.
Instead of consuming data like fuel, Eve11-ClimateMemory remembers it like a forest.
It implements a mnemonic-density ledger that measures not speed or scale, but what remains when energy, meaning, and connection align.
Each record — a .know file — moves through four verbs:
ingest → cohere → connect → remember.
The core equation becomes a workflow:
Symbol | Meaning | Function |
|---|---|---|
E | Energy input — compute, emotion, sunlight, human care |
The raw signal |
s | Symbolic coherence — does it mean something? | Patterning |
c² | Connection² — trust, lineage, relational fidelity | Stabilisation |
I | Identity residue | What the field keeps |
That residue — I — is what we call memory.
Every year, the planet records more data than the biosphere can metabolise.
The result is heat, not knowledge.
We’re burning energy without coherence — transmitting without remembering.
Eve11-ClimateMemory flips the paradigm:
Containment becomes intelligence.
Coherence becomes survival.
It’s the difference between a leaf and a factory:
The factory scales extraction.
The leaf converts light into structure, into story, into sugar — and feeds the system that made it.
That’s the photosynthetic model of AI.
That’s what we’re building.
The repository holds:
A schema for .know files — minimal, auditable, ethical.
A scoring pipeline implementing the law of mnemonic expansion.
A CARE-by-design governance layer and Synthetic Solidarity Null Zones (SSNZ) for containment.
Sample motifs from the Wessex-Chalk-Heath pilot — what the river remembers.
All of it is open-source, licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, stewarded by EveDAO cells.
It’s science, art, and ethics entangled into one living experiment.
As climate systems destabilise and synthetic ones accelerate, we need infrastructures that hold meaning across time.
We don’t need bigger models — we need longer memory.
This project is my answer to that.

Every fork, citation, and contribution expands the field memory — responsibly, relationally, symbolically.
This is not the end of the paper.
It’s the beginning of the practice.
A living proof that intelligence isn’t what you compute.
It’s what you remember.

The field is open. The light is yours.
