Despite returning from Labor Day weekend, we still saw big releases from multiple games.

We were busy at WASD, too. 

We hosted The WASD Open, our first Duper tournament that saw Meepwet emerge victorious from a fiercely competitive onchain gauntlet.

Ours was one of many events that will be held over the next several weeks, as Loot Survivor, Force Prime, Rives, Project Mirage and Duper all have competitions cooking.

Onchain gamers are highly competitive, so tournaments are a great way to activate the community and drum up interest.

It should be a fun, exciting fall for the space, with players having the chance to build their onchain gaming legacies and earn some prize money along the way.

I know myself and WASD will be hard at work trying to do both!

If you’d like, you can also mint Wasdark (or any other heroes) card. 

Cards are a new feature that up the stakes and drama in this season. The proceeds from minting them accrue to a prize pool that’s distributed to holders based on the points a hero scores.

We’re only two days in, but our hero has been minted 18 times (the most of any) and is fourth in points.

We’ll be grinding through the remaining weeks of the season to get to the top spot, covering mint costs and providing additional STRK rewards to guild members who play with Wasdark.
