Gm and welcome to The WASD Weekly!
It was another exciting week in onchain gaming.
Paima announced mobile support Tarochi Season 1.
Dojo revealed the winners of its Holiday Game Jam Hackathon.
And a new, month-long hackathon was just announced.
The past few days were also big for competitive onchain gamers, as several tournaments and events were held or announced.
For instance, WASD and [WE] hosted the first Words3 Community Round on Base in collaboration with Small Brain Games.
In addition, the two of us and our friends at ggQuest launched Season 2 of World Sky League, a Sky Strife esports league.
But that’s not all.
Dark Forest is also returning, as DF Archon announced pre-registration for Pinkship, a DF community round that will take place on the Redstone testnet.
While I may be biased on this topic, these community events should be a ton of fun.
I think (and hope) they, along with future ones in other games, have a good shot at bringing interest, excitement, and new users into the space!
