The Ultimate Guide to Arbitrum's Onchain Gaming Ecosystem
Author: FaultProofBen Gm! Last week, we covered some of the L2 stacks for building onchain games like World Engine, Keystone, Paima and AltLayer. We’ve also spent plenty of time discussing other ecosystems here on WASD like Starknet, and the MUD games built on various OP Stack L2s. If you are an L2 nerd (like myself) you may notice that there’s one glaring omission from this list: Arbitrum. Arbitrum is mostly known for having the largest L2 DeFi ecosystem, and a big Web 2.5 gaming (Games with...

The Ultimate Guide to the Realms Ecosystem: Part 2
Gm! About a month ago, I began our exploration of the Realms ecosystem in “The Ultimate Guide to the Realms Ecosystem: Part 1.” If you’re a loyal WASD reader, you may have noticed that Part 2 has yet to be released. (Rugged!) I’m happy to say that changes today, thanks to the legendary 0xAkina! In Part 1, I focused on the history, vision, and entities operating in the Realms ecosystem. I also shared my thoughts on one of its first-party games, Loot Survivor. As promised, in Part 2, Akina will...

Gm (for the second time in a few hours), and welcome to The WASD Weekly!
You may have just read our piece on the WASD Guild Rewards program (LFG!!!).
But it's Friday after all, so you’re also getting The WASD Weekly!

DJ Khaled jokes aside, it was another (I’ll see myself out) exciting week in the onchain gaming ecosystem.
Tarochi Season 1 launched on XAI.
Proof Of Play released a no-fee NFT marketplace.
AW House launched the Komorebi Hacker House Protocol, while Influence and Sky Strife teased their upcoming releases.
I sound like the metaverse’s biggest broken record, but the momentum for onchain games continues to accelerate.
With the frequency of major new releases, I continue to believe it’s only a matter of time before we see a massive uptick of players in this space.
Now, without further ado, here’s:
A primer on the week’s onchain gaming news
My picks for three games to play this weekend
A list of upcoming playtests, opportunities, and events
A recap of WASD content & mints
Some of the best other content from frens in the ecosystem
And of course…
…The s-tier meme of the week!!!
The hottest news from the last week in onchain gaming and autonomous worlds.
Three onchain games to try out for yourself this weekend.
Upcoming events from around the onchain gaming ecosystem.
NOTE: This is NOT an endorsement of any of these mints, I’m just highlighting opportunities that are out there. None of this is financial advice, and please DYOR before aping.
Catch up on this week's WASD content and mints.
The best content from frens in the community.
How it’s felt on Farcaster these past few weeks.

Fire Eyes is a leading organization for onchain governance.
They are active players and contributors to onchain games, and care deeply about furthering the development of the Ethereum and DAO ecosystems.
Fire Eyes is a great outlet for any team looking for in-depth feedback on community sentiment and token design.
