The Ultimate Guide to Arbitrum's Onchain Gaming Ecosystem
Author: FaultProofBen Gm! Last week, we covered some of the L2 stacks for building onchain games like World Engine, Keystone, Paima and AltLayer. We’ve also spent plenty of time discussing other ecosystems here on WASD like Starknet, and the MUD games built on various OP Stack L2s. If you are an L2 nerd (like myself) you may notice that there’s one glaring omission from this list: Arbitrum. Arbitrum is mostly known for having the largest L2 DeFi ecosystem, and a big Web 2.5 gaming (Games with...

Everything You Need to Know About SAGE Labs
Author: 0xAkina Gm everyone! A few weeks ago, we explored Solana’s onchain gaming ecosystem. In that piece, I mentioned a game many in the space have heard about, but few have actually played: SAGE Labs. SAGE Labs is a part of Star Atlas, one of the biggest Web3 games and ecosystems. While Star Atlas itself is not fully onchain, SAGE actually is! I’ve been hooked on the game recently, and perhaps after today, you’ll see why. That’s because we’ll be diving into all things SAGE including:Where ...

Gm, and welcome to The WASD Weekly!
It’s been an exciting past few weeks for us onchain gamers.
We had several new game or app releases, including from Small Brain, Influence, Doomsday, and of course, Primodium.
There were also big developments on the infrastructure side, as Argus open-sourced their World Engine SDK while Pirate Nation migrated to Apex, their Arbitrum Orbit L3.
These news items all illustrate the progress the onchain gaming ecosystem continues to make.
It’s still very early days, but with an seemingly endless stream of new games and improvements to infrastructure, the future looks bright.
Now, without further ado, here’s:
A primer on the week’s news
My picks for three games to play over the weekend
A list of upcoming playtests, opportunities, and events
A recap of WASD content & mints
Some of the other best content from frens in the ecosystem
And of course…
…The S-tier meme of the week!!!
The hottest news from the last week in onchain gaming and autonomous worlds.
Three onchain games to try out for yourself this weekend.
Upcoming events from around the onchain gaming ecosystem.
Event: AW Day at Komorebi’s Hacker House (IRL in London on March 14)
Event: [WE] x Lattice Sky Strife Tournament (IRL in London on March 15)
Event: Autonomous Worlds Summit (IRL in Lisbon from April 16-18)
Catch up on this week's WASD content and mints.
The best content from frens in the community.
Me this week.
Fire Eyes is a leading organization for onchain governance.
They are active players and contributors to onchain games, and care deeply about furthering the development of the Ethereum and DAO ecosystems.
Fire Eyes is a great outlet for any team looking for in-depth feedback on community sentiment and token design.
