First issue!
Im Natalie (Nat to the homies).
Welcome to the first issue of Web3 Uncut. Once a week, I'll be shipping out an issue featuring opportunities for creators and builders like me, my raw musings of Web3, and a smorgasbord of findings from the internets.
About me: Community Builder x Cultural Producer living in Web3 247. I co-produce several festivals (Huellas Festival in Spain and GECS virtually and soon in Brazil) and projects as well as consult when time permits. A few years ago, I was also a social producer on the Emmy-nominated Comedy Gives Back. My several years of work in Web3 have been rooted in equity, community building, education, social impact, arts & culture, and building culture on chain.
Currently building a secret project around Universal Basic Income for creators in Web3 & beyond and co-cultivating DISRUPT, a traveling event series featuring Black & Brown creators + innovators and dope humans in Web3. I also advise and contribute to a bunch of communities and DAOs like artsect a 🔥 NFT gallery and community in London. I also consult and advise on a bunch of cool projects when time permits.
If you have any opportunities or cool music to share, holla!

Grant Applications: The Top 5 Considerations Before Applying
https://community.interledger.org/luboyera/grant-applications-the-top-5-considerations-before-applying-1kal
FUTURE|MONEY, the first open grant opportunity for 2023, seeks artists of any discipline to reimagine outdated financial systems that currently exclude 1.7 billion people from accessing essential services to make and receive payments. We ask artists to envision a world where financial systems were built to serve everyone, everywhere, always. Where borders aren’t barriers to supporting each other financially as well as emotionally. Where services aren’t built in silos and organizations are intentionally interoperable. All expressions of that future are welcomed
This grant opportunity will fund up to eight (8) projects at $25,000 USD for an eight-month project timeline. The final results will be exhibited during the ILF Summit 2023; a travel stipend for the artist will be provided by the Interledger Foundation.
📌 Royal Over-Seas League / Art House International Residency Programme
Deadline: April 10
UK-based residency opportunity for artists living and working in the commonwealth (or former commonwealth) countries, the US, EU and EEA countries, or Switzerland
