Hey you,
Welcome to our very first newsletter for contributors, lurkers, allies, and cats.
Sent out monthly, it’ll keep you in the loop on everything we’ve been building, and each issue will spotlight a womxn-led project we love.
This month, we’re featuring WAVV, created by Araya, the designer extraordinaire behind our new website (will be launched soon).
Fun story: I met Araya during a marketing hackathon in Bangkok where this idea was just, well, an idea. It’s wild and wonderful to see how far it’s come.
Wavv is for people tired of algorithmic feeds, group chat chaos, and extractive platforms. It’s a community-owned, open-source app built to resist big tech—and to help you connect meaningfully with your community.
One place to coordinate: share your plans with friends and see what they’re up to. Post what you're doing to selected friends, check what others have shared, or both. Club nights, park hangs, gossip catch-ups. Keep it as private or public as you like.
We’re building a platform for a culture of care—owned by the community and made for sharing space and showing up for each other in real life.

We’ve been hard at work on our new website and shiny branding kit. A new website and brand presence will reflect our values and will makes it easier for contributors and partners to plug in.
We are now handing it off to developers (pray for us).
Massive thanks to the contributors:
• Zuza – Branding Kit Wizard
• Araya – Web Design Magician
We are starting monthly onboarding and community calls. This way we have a clear entry point for new contributors and a monthly alignment within the collective.
Onboarding calls are for new contributors - come chat, explore how you can plug in, and find ways we can support you (whether through connections, creativity, or chaos).
Community calls are for updates for contributors, followed by a newsletter (like this one) for the ones that missed it.
👀 Check our Luma page for upcoming events.
Introducing our Oath. What’s the Oath, you ask? (Have you even been in a cult before?)
This is our shared language and the way we move together.
Click here for a shareable X template.
We are officially in fundraising mode. We are building financial stability for womxn-led impact work.
We’re looking for sponsors that align with our values for:
• Our annual membership (access to workshops, network, community feedback, custom research, credibility & more)
• Specific events, including what we’re scheming up for Berlin Blockchain Week
Psst: sponsors must be aligned and sign the Oath (bonus points if they share it on X).
Interested? Send a Telegram to @rakymi for the deck.
Spoiler: it’s cute and compelling.
• Activating non-Web3 communities - bringing web3 privacy out of the echo chamber.
• Breaking down how governments can access (and use) your data.
• Offering alternatives: not just blockchain tools.
• Hosting a “complain round” to call out problems + brainstorm solutions.
• Mixing education with fun, practical vibes.
Location: near Web3Privacy Hackathon venue.
Date: June 14
If you'd like to get involved, let us know: @alinalatinina or @rakymi 📫
That’s all for now,
If you made it to the bottom - we 🖤 you.
