Good morning Write3 family!
Here's:
โข1 Write3 Tip
โข1 Write3 News You Can Use
โข1 Literary NFT Worth Collecting
Enjoy!
During a recent discussion in the Write3 Discord, we talked about the best way to price your first NFT book. Here are my suggestions:
๐๐ป Consider focusing on producing a small edition of your book and pricing it at a lower cost. This approach should prioritize selling out the first edition and making your collectors happy.
However, this strategy does come with a downside, which is that your book will only be distributed to a smaller audience. But don't worry!
๐๐ป Once your first edition sells out, you can provide a second edition, consisting of around 100 copies. For this edition, I would recommend featuring new cover art and adding more value to the book, such as a foreword from one of your first collectors. Be sure to airdrop this second edition to your first collectors, as this will create a unique collectible item (your first edition) while also providing you with more opportunities for monetization.
A new decentralized publisher, T2, has emerged, and it focuses on tracking the amount of time readers spend on its platform. T2 aims to reward its users based on the time they spend reading. In comparison, platforms such as Medium track user activity on the site but do not share that data with creators. T2's plan is to disrupt the web2 model by providing and monetizing this data. If you'd like early access, sign up for the T2 manifesto and get granted early access.
Devoid, a skilled writer and artist, has recently introduced a fascinating project called "Poetry Cards | Meta/Verse". I find this concept intriguing! Each card has its own unique story to tell, while also contributing to a bigger concept. Moreover, collectors will receive physical cards as well. I think this is an excellent idea that deserves our attention. You can learn more here: ๐๐ป
