Redlion, the innovative web3 publishing platform, is on the prowl (pun intended) for talented writers. Last week, Zora, the NFT creation platform, launched a writing NFT called "Pure Internet". The captivating manifesto ("We go somewhere else, same but different...a place called Zora" is brilliant!) is available as an open edition. So far, 8,000 copies have been minted by 5,000 wallets. This could become the most sought-after writing NFT ever! Here are 3 key takeaways from this incredibly successful project:
Affordable Mint - Pure Internet is available to collect for free (although Zora makes about 1.50 of each sale). Providing free or extremely affordable editions is the key to the success of writing NFTs. Strive to offer your work for a modest price.
Crypto-focused Content - You want to sell a bunch of writing NFTs? Create web3 content for a web3 audience that has a crypto wallet.
Literary NFTs Have Potential - Despite the current NFT bear market, there are silver linings. Launches like "Pure Internet" give me hope for a future where collectible writing thrives.
Pure Internet is unquestionably a literary NFT worth adding to your collection. The minting period is open for a few more days. Grab your copy of this exciting writing NFT here. Congratulations to the team at Zora!
**Reminder: Collectors of today's newsletter will have the opportunity to mint a piece of Write3 art. Your support enables me to continue doing what I love, and for that, I am deeply grateful. Happy collecting!

Interesting post, as always, Greg. The Zora manifesto is very interesting. Still, ETH gas makes it almost 10 times as expensive. I think that is something that needs to be addressed. It would have been better on Polygon. On the other spectrum of the sale-scale: I think The Wish by Ana Maria Caballero selling for 2400 Tezos is also encouraging news.
Can't argue with the numbers, though. Do you think they mint 8k if it's on poly or OP? It's a tough one and I really like the l2s, but for some creators (and companies like Zora), eth can be very useful and valuable. My hope is that l2s continue to grow to the point that more people are walking around with OP and Poly than eth!
