Crypto embraced the meme culture at the beginning with Dogecoin and many others.
Who is the Pepe anyway?
Pepe the Frog first appeared in the Internet around 2005.
Nobody was taking more serious about the meme until it became more profitable through — cryptocurrencies.
Particularly when the meme character is a symbol of the crypto with community culture altogether which nobody will take it seriously.
Of course, some of the Pepe meme was using of hate speech in the past but it did not directly translate what character was about.
