Today, I introduce Mail3, brand-new mail service of Web3. You can use Mail3 like Gmail, you always use.

Let’s start! Note that Mail3 is the beta version now, so the users are limited to ENS holders.(Precisely, you have chance to access Mail3 without ENS. Stay tuned on Discord)

Open Mail3 dapp. And select “Connect Wallet”.

The connectable wallets will be shown up. Choose the wallet you’d like to connect.

Note that only MetaMask & WalletConnect are available now. But in the future, non-EVM chain’s wallet such as Phantom, Keplr and Polkadot will be available.

By selecting “Check”, you can send the e-mails without signing every time.

The following screen appears. Congrats! You completed login successfully!

Then proceed to send a mail. Select “Write“, first.

The draft mail will appear. So fill the draft as you always do.

When you finish writing, select “Send“, and mail will be sent.

In case you have no friends to send a mail, feel free to mail me😉 Here is my address: yakugakusei.eth@mail3.me

FYI, when you get a new mail, the mail will be displayed like this.

As a unique function of Mail3, there is Signature card. Click “no signature card”, and select “mail3.me”.

Then unique signature card will be attached to the mail. With this card, the receiver can figure out that this mail is sent by YOU.

When you receive the mail with signature card, it looks like below. Of course, you can send mails to traditional mail address(like Gmail) with the signature card(card will be attached as png file).

Finally, I tell you how to change the default signature.

First, click your account and select “Settings“.

You can change your signature as you like by changing the contents in “Add Text“. You can also choose if you attach the signature and the signature card by default.
