my original intent with based mfers was to build a public mfer good that took advantage of the incredible tools farcaster offers to be used as a seamless/free entry point for anyone curious about the ecosystem as a whole. I never expected a secondary market to begin with, much less what I have seen over the past few days. it became clear that 1) a community of new mfers were being onboarded 2) not many were aware of the nature of the mint. I made the decision to cap the collection as I felt that was the best decision in order to give the community a chance to grow.
on the collection moving forward - metadata for the TBD traits will be corrected this upcoming week so that trait rarities can be fully determined.
apart from this there are a few things I would like do for the collection but they require time and coordination to deliver. until I can be 100% certain I can deliver what I am committing to, these ideas will remain ideas.
I can’t thank the new wave of mfers enough for the genuine good vibes you have spread to so many people over the past few days. thank you as well to the seasoned mfers who have jumped in to help answer questions and make this a positive experience.
