One of the most relevant processes is globalization, which determines the trend of the development of the modern world economy, which permeates all areas of society, from TNCs to people, on whom political and economic processes in the world depend. Today's TNCs have no allegiance to particular governments and pay very little attention to national borders. Transnational corporations are global in scope because they make products, sell them, and raise financial resources by any method that best suits their long-term strategic goals. They are able to raise capital from any developed market, and they are encouraged to do so by the desire to minimize expenses and maximize income. The development of TNCs can be analyzed in the course of several stages, during which the transnational corporations themselves underwent significant changes. The activities of the first TNCs were largely related to the extraction and sale of raw materials of colonial and dependent countries. Then gradually the sphere of attention of TNCs shifted to the production of products.
