Mapping Rollup Interoperability for Cross-chain Connectivity
Let’s dive into the most-talked topic in L2 space; rollup interoperability solutions. You may already know that the problem of ‘fragmented interoperability’ has always been a roadblock to seamless Web3 experience and the creation of innovative (or futuristic). Knowing this, Ethereum’s co-founder Vitalik Buterin, in his recent tweet rolled out his vision to enable cross-chain interoperability across Ethereum Layer2s. He basically talked about the following Ethereum Proposal Plans (EIPs) in the...

Zeeve, the leading Rollups-as-a-Service (RaaS) platform, has added Router Protocol to its list of trusted 3rd party integration partners, helping businesses and developers add Cross-Chain interoperability functions into their Layer2 or Layer3 rollup chains.
Rollups currently lack the composability and interoperability they need. This creates lost opportunities for the whole Web3 space and makes the rollup ecosystem fragmented. The need of the hour is to integrate a solution that fixes this and helps to leverage the liquidity of the whole ecosystem.
Router Protocol solves the same through a Cross-Chain Intent Framework (CCIF) that receives information in the form of intent and replaces multiple steps with one single step to uplift the UX. As a result, Dapps existing on different ecosystems can quickly communicate with each other and eliminate any missed opportunities for users through its seamless user integration features.
Zeeve’s partnership with the Router Protocol will help clients who are using Zeeve’s low code Rollups-as-a-service (RaaS) platform to develop their rollups integrate Router Protocol, which would simplify interchain communication and help businesses using Zeeve to deploy their L2/L3 Optimistic or ZK rollups across all supported frameworks with seamless interchain communication features.
“There are many powerful dApps active on various rollups which are lying as separate ecosystems with powerful features; however, they do not have easy means to communicate with other rollup networks, said Dr Ravi Chamria, co-founder and CEO of Zeeve. “As a result of the same, we are experiencing fragmented liquidity and very complex UX. For blockchains to attract the world’s GDP on its ecosystem, they must be very simple, easy to use, and in tune with the existing traditional finance. Router Protocol through Cross-Chain Intent Framework makes that possible, and Zeeve’s integration in this equation with the Router Protocol would help developers build their rollup solutions and simplify the user experience using the pluggable Router Protocol framework with Zeeve.”

At Router Protocol, our mission is to power interoperability for all web3. We believe that rollups are going to be a large part of overall consensus in a few years and for that it’s important that RaaS providers like Zeeve are able to offer builders the appropriate interoperability stack. Router Protocol team is excited to help Zeeve with all the interoperability needs – Ramani Ramachandran, CEO of Router Protocol.

Zeeve provides a comprehensive partner ecosystem where projects can enjoy a wide variety of features that integration partners provide, like permissionless interoperability protocols, decentralized oracles, sequencing services, data indexers, account abstraction SDKs, and more. These additions are designed to expand and enrich the functionality of smart contracts and sovereign rollups on the Zeeve platform and give users more options to choose from. All these ready-made tools can be seamlessly integrated with all the top rollup frameworks Zeeve supports, including Polygon CDK, zkSync hyperchains, Arbitrum Orbit, and OP Stack.
For more information, visit our Integration Partners page. If you are planning to launch an OP or ZK rollup chain, connect with us. Our expert team can help you figure out what infrastructure might better suit your needs.
