Good morning everyone! I'm finally back with a new Five Faves of the Week! After spending the last couple of weekends on my artist brand, I'm ready to share with you my favorite art π I found this week's picks to be diverse, with different medium and style which I think you'll find refreshing! Check them out below! π
First up there's "Collide" by @eyesoon_ which is a beautiful mixed media piece made of raw sketch illustration, collage and animation. The central focus of a pair of eyes feels intense with bursting energy, further accentuated by the bold yellow colors and rotating red starburst. The energy feels raw and unpolished as if we're witnessing a new passion being born in this moment. What a visually striking piece, Ericson! π₯π₯
True to @cyber_yuyu's style, "Heads Will Roll" is another beautiful masterpiece ππ»Reimagining the Jack of Hearts, Yuyu masterfully blends classical painting with digital surrealism to turn the card into an icon of power, seduction and self-determination. The play of contrasts in flowy fabric against the sharp realism of the figure creates an excellent balance in the composition. It's a bold statement of reinvention through destruction which Yuyu beautifully delivers β¨
"Outer Visions" by @photonisdead and @mendezmendezart is a match-made in collab heaven β¨ Both of their distinct styles blend seamlessly together, creating a perfect stage for both artists to shine. The third eye, a classic motif of enlightenment, casts a beam of sky-filled light, almost as if opening a portal to a higher state of awareness. The lone figure standing in the rippling water suggests deep introspection, as if caught between reality and a metaphysical journey. It's hauntingly beautiful and forces the audience to rethink the power that imaginations can bring. Beautiful work and congrats to both artists! ππ»
"The Universal Translator" by @Gogolitus is a stunning fusion of cyberpunk and kawaii aesthetics, blending soft pastel pinks and purples with a pixelated, retro-tech style. The intricate pixel detailing and glitchy neon brings so much nostalgia to the piece, like a retro game we used to play as kids. As the girl in the center holds a glowing heart, the professions of love in many languages dance around like some kind of love letter from a digital utopia. An amazing piece, Gogo!ππ»
Trevor Jones
"Bear Necessities" by @trevorjonesart is a truly wild piece! π»π₯As part of the @punk6529 meme card, this piece brings a wild, almost dystopian energy with its fusion of organic and mechanical elements, turning a bear into a terrifying yet mesmerizing machine. The use of intricate metallic textures and glowing red eyes creates a sense of menace and power. The environment, filled with wreckage and debris, enhances the post-apocalyptic atmosphere, hinting at a world where nature and technology have violently collided. It's a truly impressive character work and animation β¨Congrats, Trevor!
And that's all for this week's Five Faves! I hope you find them inspiring as I do βΊοΈ As always, if you haven't followed these great artists, please do! And thank you again for always tuning in to my article, your support in reading them means so much to me β(ΛΆΛ α΅ ΛΛΆ) ββ‘
