It's Friday and you know what it means: it's time for ZK Mesh Mini!
ZK Mesh Mini is your weekly dose of ZK, where we unpack the top developments in the ZK space from the past 7 days. In this edition we'll cover:
@zkp2p in latest @zeroknowledgefm episode,
@SuccinctLabs' SP1 Reth,
@ethereum ZK Grants Round,
ZK + DOOM powered by @RiscZero's zkVM,
Circle STARK paper by @0xPolygon + @StarkWareLtd researchers.
@Bmwball56 & @richardzliang from @zkp2p were the guests of @zeroknowledgefm episode 312, covering the present & the future of ZKP2P. Always a pleasure to see the progress of this project born during ZK Hack Lisbon!
In a recent article and tweet, @SuccinctLabs introduced SP1 Reth, an open-sourced proof-of-concept showcasing how to build a type-1 (bytecode compatible) zkEVM using @rustlang and SP1, their zkVM.
@ethereum announced the opening of their ZK Grants Round to encourage projects building around zero-knowledge proofs. The grant is supported by @aztecnetwork, @Scroll_ZKP, @0xPolygon, @zksync & @taikoxyz.
@m0thran got DOOM running in @RiscZero’s zkVM & wrote a blog post about it. Fun fact: @RegularMarek asked “can I run DOOM?” back in ZK Hack Lisbon. The answer is now “yes” and it shows the progress being made in ZK.
A collab between @0xPolygon Labs & @StarkWareLtd led to the research paper Circle STARK where @UHaboeck, @PapiniShahar & David Levit cover how the Mersenne-31 field can enhance ZK performance with Plonky3.
